The Whelen 4" Round TIR6 Super-LED Lighthead is a heavy-duty 4" round PAR32 surface mount unit that comes with a PAR32 to PAR36 adapter ring. The wide angle LED's combined with a redesigned spreader optic lenses fill the lighthead evenly with light, rivaling strobe in intensity but with all the advantages of LED's. Perfect for motorcycle officers, low amp draw of LED saves the strain on the motorcycle. Available in flat or extended lens versions with 5 Scan-Lock flash patterns, each with Phase 1 and Phase 2 and steady burn. This lighthead comes standard with synchronize wire for simultaneous or alternating flashing lights. Available in four safety colors. Rated for 100,000 hours of continuous use. These are the Split Version of the 500 Series TIR6 Super-LED Lighthead. They offer the same compact size and super bright light output as the standard TIR6, plus the additional attention getting action of a split lighthead. This compact lighthead is perfect for mounting in the grill, on side mirrors, on bumpers, or numerous other applications. The TIR6 uses Generation 3 LED's and over-sized reflectors with spreader optic lenses to fill the entire lighthead. Whelen's SmartLED design alternately or simultaneously flashes each color segment (3 x 3) in any of the Scan-Lock Flash Patterns in Phase 1 & Phase 2. The TIR6 has a Scan-Lock flash pattern wire to change between built in flash patterns. This four wire TIR6 includes the synchronization interconnect wire that allows up to eight lightheads to be synchronized together. All TIR6's come with clear outer lenses - the color is generated by the LED's.
